How hard is it to build housing for disabled people?

Our team of Accessibility Consultants work with Architects and Project Managers on accessibility design in both new buildings and projects within existing buildings, the latter being more challenging to obtain regulatory compliance.

Our accessibility report service for existing buildings involves a site survey and preparation of an for Access and Mobility – Buildings and Associated Facilities and highlights areas that fall short, along with supporting information for an “As Near As Reasonably Practicable “ argument for those areas that cannot reasonably comply. Accessibility Report to accompany building consent documentation, which has seen an increase in request from Councils around New Zealand with commercial some multi-dwelling residential consent applications. The report includes areas of full compliance against NZS 4121:2001 Design.
