A number of our Fire Engineers and Fire Evacuation Consultants recently attended and spoke at the national Fire New Zealand conference at Tauranga’s Baypark Stadium.

This year’s theme centred around “The Evolution of Fire – Reflecting on the past and looking to the future” and focused on; new cutting-edge technology and design methodologies, new Fire Safety, Fire Protection and Fire Fighting research, and empowering training for the next generation of fire professionals.

One of our Evacuation Consultants, Phil Jackson, spoke on the challenges the new evacuation regulations are presenting while also showing support for Massey University’s research on human behaviour and virtual reality technology.
