Tips when Commissioning a Fire Engineering Report

We complete hundreds of fire engineering reports each year, and every project starts with a request for service. Providing the right information upfront helps us prepare an accurate fee proposal, reduce delays and get your project underway sooner.

When requesting a proposal, please include:
1. The street address of the building or site.
2. The entity the proposal and agreement should be addressed to.
3. A brief explanation of why the fire engineering report is required.
4. Existing and proposed plans (for existing buildings, if available). If not available, we can help arrange existing as-built plans.
5. Any existing fire engineering report, as this may reduce both the time required and the overall fee.
6. Any key project dates, such as your intended consent application date.

Providing this information from the outset helps us deliver an accurate proposal and ensures your project can progress as efficiently as possible.
