1. Certificate of Title – no older than 3 months.
2. Written Authority from the Property Owner – will be required if the applicant is not the property owner.
3. Detailed Plans/Drawings – to show existing and proposed modifications and highlight the works to be carried out including their location.
4. Specifications – to be site specific for the proposed works, including manufacturer specifications and product literature.
5. MEP Plans and Specifications – Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing plans, specifications, Producer Statements, and calculations.

7. Fire Report – to document the fire safety design for the building and to specify the safety features that must be incorporated to enable the building to comply with the relevant Building Code.
8. Accessibility Report/Review – to assess the building where works are being carried out to ensure it provides access and facilities for people with disabilities.

For existing buildings, the Building Act, Section 112, requires a review of fire and accessibility for all building consents and relevant standards, and for the building to comply as near as reasonably practicable.
