ASB North Wharf – Building Compliance

- Building Type: ASB North Wharf is a new 18,000 sq m, six level sustainably designed office complex, built specifically for ASB Bank as its new headquarters. It houses up to 1400 staff. The building is owned by Kiwi Income Property Trust and leased to ASB Bank Group as well as ten ground floor retail tenants.
- Project Scope:
CoveKinloch New Zealand Ltd has a long established relationship with ASB Bank and provides building compliance services for the majority of the bank’s branches and related property. CoveKinloch New Zealand Ltd has been appointed by the ASB Property Team to provide building compliance services for the new North Wharf headquarters, commencing with advice pertaining to the issuance of the compliance schedule.
- Project Delivery:
The building has a single compliance schedule, effectively the building’s birthday, and one year from this date its first building warrant of fitness will be due. In the lead up to the first anniversary, our compliance administration team will begin calling for and collating Form 12A’s from ASB Bank’s service providers and one of our senior IQPs will complete a thorough annual inspection of the property. Once our Form 12A is issued and the others are collected, CoveKinloch New Zealand Ltd will issue the building with its warrant of fitness.
