Public Access and Mobility Tender Success

Did you know, 1.1million New Zealanders are classed as disabled while 59% of all people above 65years in age fall into this category? That’s almost a quarter of the population!

We are very pleased to announce that CoveKinloch New Zealand Ltd will assist in making public facilities all the more accessible to Kiwis with disabilities.

We can now confirm that CoveKinloch New Zealand Ltd has been successful in being awarded the contract for Facilities – Public Access and Mobility Reporting. The inspection and reporting will encompass 123 facilities including public toilets, halls, community centres, libraries and carparks.

Our reports will identify non-compliance with New Zealand Standard Design for Access and Mobility – Building Associated Facilities, NZS4121:2001.

Allan Hoffman will lead this project in early 2018.
