Marion has been with CoveKinloch since 2011.

Marion’s main focus is the co-ordination in the timely issuance of Building Warrants of Fitness for clients throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

This role includes ensuring our qualified IQP staff are aware of their upcoming inspection and testing appointments; the data entry for Field Inspection Reporting from our IQP’s; Fire Evacuation reporting to the NZFS; Resolving Building Warrant of Fitness enquiries from clients and contractors; New client set-ups and Liaising with the Local Territorial Authorities.

Marion’s role involves keeping our Compliance staff on track and our clients have a hassle free experience ensuring that all Building Compliance requirements are met

Allan Hoffman

Allan Hoffman

Building Consultant / Fire Design

Allan is a highly experienced building practitioner with specialist skills in the building control, building consulting and fire design areas. He is well respected in the industry and across the central North Island.

Allan is well versed with the NZ Building Codes, Regulations and Building Act, earthquake prone building policy, alternative solutions and fire engineering design across both commercial and residential buildings.

Duane Darling

Duane Darling MBOINZ

Waikato/Bay of Plenty Regional Manager

Duane in his role as Waikato Regional Manager is responsible for all consulting and compliance services in the region. He is an astute building consultant with a background as a senior operative within the building control environment of several Waikato Local Authorities.

Duane is taking a lead role with commercial exterior cladding refurbishments, litigation support, building asset management and building surveying services within the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.

 

Michael Clifford

Michael Clifford BEng (Hons), MSc, CEng, FIFireE, CPEng, MIPENZ, FCABE

Senior Fire Engineer

Michael commenced his career as fire fighter in the British Naval Air Command Fire Service in which he progressed to the equivalent level of an Assistant Divisional Officer. He subsequently gained formal qualifications and has practiced as a consulting fire engineer in private practice for the past 14 years.

Michael is available for performance based fire engineering design, complex fire modelling and other roles associated with building consent documentation for both new and existing buildings together with advisory services relating to the existing built environment.
