Asbestos Building Surveys and Management Plans

At CoveKinloch New Zealand Ltd we have commercial building surveyors with the key British Occupational Society (BOHS) P402 and P405 qualifications, Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings and Asbestos Management respectively.

The Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016 came into force in April 2016 and creates obligations for businesses and building owners prior to 4 April 2018.

Essentially, if you suspect a building under your control has asbestos containing materials within it then you should by now be planning to have the building inspected by a qualified assessor.

Should asbestos or asbestos containing materials be identified then an Asbestos Management Plan for the workplace will need to be prepared and be operational on or before 4 April 2018.

At CoveKinloch New Zealand Ltd we are able to provide the necessary services to inspect and, if necessary, prepare an Asbestos Management Plan to suit the workplaces under your control so as to ensure compliance with the regulations.
